Every last weekend in June, the Strohsemmel Festival draws tens of thousands to historic Lemgo. For over 20 years, this grand event has celebrated the famous local 'Strohsemmel.' From Friday to Sunday, enjoy a vibrant Market Square featuring live music, variety theater, and great food. Experience tradition reimagined for the 21st century in a stylish, casual SummerLounge atmosphere.

The 17th Annual Colloquium of the two institutes - the Institute Industrial IT (inIT) at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the Institute for Automation and Communication (ifak) e.V. in Magdeburg will take place in 2026 at the Innovation Campus in Lemgo.

Celebrating 420 years, Detmold's Andreasmesse remains a premier fairground tradition.
